Deep snow…

and my dog, Sloopy—that's about all I remember from my short time on the East coast. I have, in every other way, grown up in the Pacific Northwest and call it home. Running through the woods shooting my BB gun, bouncing on vine maples and playing soccer on a lawn that was 50% moss are but a few of many fond childhood memories.

Based on the fact that I always loved art and was pretty good at it (thanks Mom and Dad for the encouragement) but wasn’t cut out for the life of a starving artist, when the time came to choose a career path, I decided on something creative yet practical: Graphic Design.

What started as a way to make money quickly became an obsession and, now, lifetime pursuit.

Over 30 years in, and I feel fortunate to say that this is the most rewarding, productive chapter of my career. Still unfolding, I am both more convicted in my feelings around design while more curious about other perspectives.

Respectfully guiding other designers, while in the trenches with them, is where I thrive.

To this day, I still call the PNW home, where I enjoy a full life with my wife, kids, and dog Fozzie (RIP Sloopy) in fashionable Bellingham, WA.
